Short and plain: what this website does with your data.

Who we are
GeoCharge runs this website and the GeoCharge app. You can reach us at geocharge.app@gmail.com.
Without your consent
The pages are delivered through Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and to protect the site. We set no cookies on this site without your consent. Cloudflare tells us your country; we use it only to suggest a language and we do not store it. If you choose a language or close the language bar, your browser remembers that choice on your device only.
We also count visits without cookies: each page view sends the page address, the site you came from, your device’s time zone and the type of browser to our own counter on Google Cloud, which keeps daily totals only, with no IP address and no identifier. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analytics, only if you accept
If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_CL567428X7 and measures which pages are viewed, from which country and city, on which kind of device and browser, and how visitors arrived. Advertising features are off, and the data is kept for 14 months. Google may process the data outside the EU; Google LLC takes part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. If you accept, your browser also keeps the date of your last visit, so that our counter can tell new visitors from returning ones.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, for correction, deletion or restriction, for a copy, and you can object to processing. You can also complain to your data protection authority. Write to geocharge.app@gmail.com.
The app
